My Reflection

My goal throughout this course is that I can apply all the knowledge that I learn throughout my journey in this Bioinformatics program in accordance with industry needs. Like other students, I also have a goal to achieve a CGPA of 3.67 or above each semester. Continue my studies to a higher level which is a master in bioinformatics course through a shortcut which PRISM course in my third year also one of my goals because I find that this course is very interesting to explore in more depth. 

Competition among Malaysian graduates in the industry is intensifying. In order to improve my potential in the industry, there are a few actions and plans that I take. First of all, I plan to improve my soft skills especially in communication and leadership skills by joining or hold any organization that is established by UTM or other than UTM because soft skills is one of the most crucial skills that the employees want from a fresh graduate and sometimes it will be decisive of whether or not you are selected by the employer. Besides that, to reinforce my potential in industry, I managed to take some certifications during my studies such as Microsoft Azure, Python and Google Cloud certifications because with these certifications can help me to boost my professional credibility and upholding industry standard.

Before this I did not know about the latest technology especially the industrial revolution 4.0 (IR4.0), but after this subject was introduced I was given exposure to the industrial revolution 4.0 and enlightened me to explore more widely about the latest technologies such as cloud computing, smart city and 5Gi. While studying this subject, the thing that attracts me to learn more is about artificial intelligence which is known as AI. I found that AI is something interesting to learn and given that AI in modern times has been widely used around the world, so it was an opportunity for me to learn more in depth . Through this subject I was also able to learn about AI by the way I use AI technology in my projects and it really helped me learn how AI works.

I’d like to express my deepest thanks to Dr Azurah binti A Samah throughout the teaching during this 14 -week period for being helpful and supportive throughout our completion of the assignment given. Dr always gives words of encouragement to stay motivated to finish our studies. Advice given by Dr Azurah has been a great help in exploring more industries needed and makes me realize to try out something new especially in IR4.0. I would like to express again my thanks to Dr Azurah because of her patient guidance and assistance in keeping my progress on schedule.

I would like to express my special appreciation and thanks to my group members Malleylene, Harchana and Nasrul for their commitment and effort while completing all assigned tasks . I am so thankful to have team members who are very responsible and help each other. In addition, I am very grateful to the group leader Malleylene for her efforts to manage our group and ensure that every task is completed perfectly.
