Director of program

The main purpose of this activity is to identify talented students in the field of sports even if only online. This program has given positive results to students such as getting to know each other better, gaining knowledge and skills in sports. In addition, they can also show their talent in this program. This activity involves all first year students in College 9&10 which is around 539 students. Other than that, this activity includes several different online sports namely PUBG, Powerline.io, Mobile legend, Pac-Man and word search and involves the sale of sports jerseys for each participant. The graduate attributes that I got from this activity are leadership and team working skills, communication skills and enterprising skills. Leadership and team working skills are very important for me to apply in this activity as an activity director apart from communication skills. Due to there are quite a lot of sub-activities, apart from requiring a large committee, a harder effort is also very necessary in making this program a success.

From this activity, I also got many impacts in the development of the students' graduate attributes. First of all, I felt myself being very persistent in adapting to something I didn't really like, which was sports. Regardless of physical sports or online sports, it is a rather challenging field for me to engage in because I need to understand every procedure of the sports event that is organized in this activity before it can be carried out. Therefore, after the successful completion of this activity, I felt some feeling of self-pride because it is not easy to do something that I do not like with full commitment. Furthermore, while carrying out this activity I have managed several other activities at the same time. So, I feel overwhelmed that it still runs smoothly thanks to the efforts of the other committee members of this activity as well. I hope that this kind of activity can be continued in the future with more interesting content and carried out physically for more fun.
