Mini Report
This activity aims to create a bond between the freshmen of Psychology with Human Resource Development with their seniors for a more positive environment among students. Hence, this program would help freshmen gain both adaptability skills and social skills to promote friendship and also to introduce the organizational structure and functions of the Psychology Interactive Club (PSYCHIC) on the development of Psychology students. This activity involves several online explorace activities, sharing sessions and leadership talks. The graduate attributes that are focused on this activity are leadership and team working skills, communication skills and global citizenship and also adaptability. As an activity director, it is very important for me to emphasize this value in every activity so that it can benefit all parties involved directly or otherwise.Through the activity that lasted for two days, I could see that the participants involved enjoyed what they were participating in, thus getting important input as targeted by this activity.
Self Reflection
From this activity, I got few impacts in the development of the students' graduate attributes including global citizenship. This can be seen through the ability to act professionally and responsibly in carrying out my duties throughout the success of this activity. In addition, as the director of this activity I was able to improve my leadership and team working skills. Then, I better understand responsibility towards group decisions. Furthermore, the ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds considering that the participants in this activity are made up of various races, ethnicities and also nationalities. Although my second language, which is English, is not very good, I managed to give instructions that were understood by every committee and participant. Indeed, this activity gave me a lot of new experience, especially since this was the first activity that I led at UTM. I will take lessons from every mistake that has been made in carrying out this activity so that the following activities will be better and more interesting.
