GROUP 9 PROJECT 1 PRESENTATION
Reflection
My team and I have been assigned to run Project 1 for the subject of Probability and Statistical Data Analysis. We have all agreed to run Project 1 with the topic of The Effect of Frequency of Movies and Dramas. To get the data for the project, we make a google form to be distributed to all UTMJB students by faculty. First, we created a questionnaire that consisted of all the levels of measurement mentioned in the rubrics provided by Dr. Azurah. We gather our ideas on movies and dramas that are related to students and produce questionnaires then distribute them to students.
After a few weeks, we received all the data and began dividing up the tasks to complete all the required graphs that had been taught in the class. After completing all the graphs using R software, reports and slides, the next thing to do is presentation. Due to the outbreak, we performed a presentation by sending a video to Dr. Azurah. Another meeting was held to prepare for the presentation, our group leader distributed each section to us and the video should be within 7 minutes. We record individual videos and compile them into one video. The last step is to submit the project. All team members are required to upload link video, reflection and infographic to the e-portfolio page and submit the e-portfolio link to e-learning. Only group leaders are required to submit the report via e-learning.
The difficulty I encountered when completing this project was to use the R software. R is a programming language for computing statistics and graphics. It is widely used to develop statistical and data analysis. It wasn’t difficult but this was my first time using R, I was a bit confused and didn’t know how to interact with it. However, when I worked with it, everything was fine but there were some errors and the program could not run. Luckily, thanks to my teammates helped me get through it.
Special thanks to Dr. Azurah for giving us all the support and guidance that made us complete this project as well as giving us new experiences and knowledge by collecting our data, distributing it to all the students and using R software. Last but not least, I would like to thank my team member for getting this project done on time. This project would not have been possible without the efforts and cooperation of my team members.
