WEB DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

On 29th February 2020, UTM Robocon has organized a web dovelopment workshop which located at BK1, N24 in UTM. The workshop starts from 8.30am and ends at 5.00 pm. Realizing the importance of having the skills to develop a web in this modern era, I have decided to join the workshop. The workshop is focused on teaching the beginners on how to develop and design a web by using HTML 5, CSS and also Bootstrap. The facilitators that assists me and other participants are from the members of the Robocon club itself. In addition, Dr. Afnizanfaizal has also joined the workshop in the morning for a brief sharing session regarding the web development. Hearing the story from his wonderful speech has made me feel really glad and happy that I have joined this workshop.

It is such a wonderful experience to learn how to code my own program to develop my own web. I believed that the facilitators have done a great job in assisting all the participants so that no one is left behind. They also did their best in explaining and answering each question from the participants. 

Furthermore, Robocon also has managed to make the process of learning become more fun for the participants. For each part of the workshop, there will be a games(Kahoot!) for the participants to play to ensure that they really understand the concept on developing the web. 

To sum up, web development is one of the important aspect for young people nowadays to learn. It cannot be denied that having the skills to develop and design our own web will increase our opportunity to find a job after we graduate in the future. It is not too late to learn and study something news as the world keep changing as the time goes by. Hence, I hope that more workshops like this will be conducted in the future so that me and my friends increase our skills in various aspects.
