Kursus Kepimpinan Sukarelawan Universiti Zon Selatan
On 5th October 2019, MASKUM’19 has held a program named 'Kursus Kepimpinan Sukarelawan Universiti Zon Selatan' located at N24, UTM, JB from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.. The participants of this program come from various university students from southern Malaysia. 6 universities from southern Malaysia have sent their students to join this program. Thus, there are 7 different university that has send their representative to participate in this program. The 7 universities are USIM, UTEM, UTHM, UITM SEGAMAT, UITM PG and UTM itself. I am one of the students that represent UTM for the program. The concept of the program is based on the activities that can enhance leadership.
Objectives of ‘Kursus Kepimpinanan Sukarelawan Zon Selatan’
- As a preparation medium for the volunteers in participating in upcoming programs of MASKUM.
- Act as a training medium for student volunteers from public university to involve in any kind of volunteering programs and as a preparation for TOT MASKUM.
- As a training program for facilitator and create the path for management of volunteering program.

All of all, Kursus Kepimpinan Sukarelawan Universiti Zon Selatan organized by MASKUM with the cooperation from Volunteer Club UTM has successfully benefits all the participants with new knowledge and skills. From my point of view, as one of the participants of this program, I get to enhance my communication skills and also boost up my confidence level. Not only that, my social skills also has been improved by joining this program as I get to interact with new people from different universities. In short, it is important for the younger generation to be involved in this kind of program as they are the one who will rule the world in the future.
