Content on AWS

I earned the AWS badge by completing all the ten modules on cloud concepts. I started by watching the explanation videos repeatedly and taking notes. After I was confident with my understanding on the topics, I quizzed myself with the module knowledge check. For modules with a lab, I tested out some of the features. The concepts were easy to understand due to their simple explanations. I started on the 12th of January and I completed it on the 14th of January. It took me 2 days to complete the 10 modules and the badge looks like a blue backgrounded certificate.

I learned about cloud computing and how amazon has improved the cloud computing concept and monetized it.  This is because I learned the basic concepts of cloud computing as well AWS and their differences. The next thing I learned is cloud economics and billing, AWS infrastructure, cloud security and architecture, networking and content delivery, compute services, storage, databases and auto scaling and monitoring.

Support from my peers and their positive feedback on how much they’ve learned.

It is moderately difficult and the easiest module was the 5th module and the hardest was the 9th module.

It improved my knowledge and skills on Cloud Computing by a lot and it was really helpful.

I don’t think every company should switch to cloud computing because some companies do not need it.

I think every computer science or UTM student should learn Cloud Computing and get the AWS badge because its very informative and incredibly easy to understand.
