Mini Report

The Cultural Exchange (CULEXC 2022) event, organized by JKM of Kolej Tun Dr Ismail, provided a vibrant tapestry of cultural diversity, fostering a sense of unity and mutual understanding among participants. Taking place on Hari Malaysia, the event featured a range of activities that celebrated the rich cultural tapestry of various nations.

The day commenced at 9 am with the registration of representatives for the cultural forum, a central component of the event. As the moderator, I initiated the forum at 10 am, introducing representatives from China, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Bangladesh. The forum sessions were enlightening, with each representative passionately sharing insights into their country's culture, encompassing aspects such as food, education, hobbies, traditional music, and games. The engaging Q&A session further allowed for an interactive exchange between the representatives and the curious audience.

By 11:30 am, the forum concluded, paving the way for the next segment of the event. Attendees were invited to explore cultural booths and indulge in the diverse offerings from each country. The booths featured captivating displays of art, traditional food, and beverages, providing a hands-on experience of each nation's unique cultural identity.

As the clock struck 1 pm, the event culminated in a group photo session, capturing the shared moments of cultural exchange and camaraderie. CULEXC 2022 not only celebrated the individuality of each culture but also served as a bridge, fostering connections and understanding among participants. The event left a lasting impression, highlighting the power of cultural exchange in promoting unity and appreciation for diversity within the collegiate community.
