SECP1513 - Technology and Information System (TIS)

I got the AWS badge after I finished all 10 modules including teaching videos, tests and labs that have in AWS course.  I started the first module on 6 December 2021 and  finished the 10th module on 9 January 2022. To be honest, I really put much effort on finishing all the modules. I believe that if I finish this module then I gain a valuable knowledge that I can use for my future in computing field. In my opinion, getting the badge is so difficult because we need complete all the 10 modules and also do the test and lab. To be honest, it is quite stressful because there are so many tasks that we need to complete in this AWS course. For me, module 1 is the easiest one because it only have to watch the videos and also do the test. In addition, it also have less number of videos that we need to watch. In contrast, module 6 is the hardest one because for me it have more videos and some other task like test and 3 lab activities which I think is the toughest part. 10 modules, 10 tests, and some labs need to be finished in less than 5 months and I successfully finished it less than one month.

In my opinion, it is a great opportunity for me to get learn about cloud computing in SECP1513 subject. The AWS badge is so meaningful to me because I can use it later in finding job on future. So I want to say thanks to my lecturer who gave me this opportunity to learn about AWS. 

After completing the badge, I want to learn more about cloud computing and understand completely about cloud computing. This is because I can use this to design cloud architecture for any use cases. I also can implement it to cope with small business problem or huge business problem from small size company to huge size company.

I advice for whom have not get the AWS badge yet to start learn about cloud computing. Before I start the AWS course, I felt that I only want to finish the course quickly. But after I start to learn it, I'm feeling so fun and has no regret on learning this. After I get the AWS badge, I'm feeling so proud to be part of this course and the badge is priceless and meaningful for me. I can use the certificate and also the badge that got from the course to pursue for job in future. 

Why not? In my opinion, knowledge about cloud computing is a fundamental and critical knowledge for every computer science/UTM student. Learning about cloud computing is a great opportunities for CS student to improve their skills in computing. Moreover, many companies now are using cloud computing to run their application or web server. So I think every CS student need to grab the opportunities to learn about cloud computing in future.

Yeah of course! This is because the cloud computing provides better insights from big data, flexible and scalable, business continuity guarantee, disaster recovery, simple and cost effective. There are so many other reasons on why is it so important for many company to change to cloud computing. By using cloud computing, it will provide many benefits to the users and also developers. As a result, it can drive the global to more advance technology innovation. 

I admit that after I getting this badge, my knowledge and skills on cloud computing has been improved a lot! Now I'm feeling no regret about spending much time on the AWS course. Moreover, I want to know more about AWS service so that I gain more knowledge on cloud computing. From zero knowledge and know nothing about cloud computing and now I'm able to design a cloud architecture in my group project using AWS services that I have learnt before. So what I can say is I have improve a lot on knowledge and skills on cloud computing after getting this priceless badge.

This badge can guarantee me to find a job in future. This badge leave a meaningful and high value in it. This badge also show the struggle that I face during the AWS course.

So I decide to free my time and arrange my schedule to put high focus on AWS course. As a result, I can help my group assessment on designing cloud architecture using AWS services in project. 

After completed  AWS course, now I understand about what is cloud computing is. Furthermore, I also know what services that provided by AWS that can be used in many cases like computing, storage, networking, security and etc. I also gain a practical skills as I experience on how to use the services in the lab session. To be honest, it is quite tired to finish all the 10 modules but it is worth it.  I can say that now I'm prefer the cloud computing rather than traditional computing because cloud computing provide flexibility, data recovery, little to no maintenance, easy access and a higher level of security.
