Industrial Training in Media and Game Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGICX)) RSS

Introduction

Throughout the industrial training period, I worked with many people who guided and inspired me. Their guidance and understanding contributed to my knowledge and thought process as I faced problem and adjusted to a new environment. My parents were both an big support and help to me during my industrial training at this organization, and I greatly appreciate their guidance and help.

During my industrial training at MaGICX, I had the pleasure of working with my MaGICX Director, Prof. Madya. Dr Mohd Yazid bin Idris, En Azizul bin Azman and the entire MaGICX team. Thank you very much for your time, assisting and support. Their help and commitment to every aspect of the training were crucial to achieving the training's main goals. Working with them over the past 20 weeks has been an honour. Their inspiration, energy, and vast knowledge have been invaluable to me.

Task Done

the MaGICX director got the project from the client that wants to implement the digital twin into their system. The client also gives the scope and raw data to the company as the reference for the project. The main task of the project is to create a website that simulates the client’s system in real time. The trainer only gets the basic task for this project due to the client giving a one year contract to MaGICX but the trainer does industrial training for a maximum of 5 months only.

After 8 week of the training, Research Officer give the new project related to MaGICX. The trainer will build the model of MaGICX’s building. The model will be used for simulation as a showcase. This model also connected to the Application Programming Interface(API) that connected to the light switch’s sensor in MaGICX’s office. When the user open the light switch at the MaGICX’s building model, the light in the office at the building will open at the same time. We develop the model from week 8 until the last week of industrial training.

Conclusion

Industrial training is one of the most effective ways to expose the various experiences and knowledge. This training exposes students to the world of computing industry, which is the first step into the world of careers.

FIrst Semester at UTM

Assalamualaikum, Salam Harapan Johor and Salam UTM Sanjungan Bangsa.

First of all, I would like to give appreciation to all student and lecturer who read this essay. I hope you would enjoy reading my essay and give positive feedback. If this essay makes you feel disappointed about this essay, I’m sorry for that because it’s not easy doing the essay, especially in English. If this essay has grammatical error, Please give feedback politely. Let’s Start.

When this essay was established, It’s about 4 months study at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The time was passed fast and I’m still shocked because I didn’t expect to be in here because I hope to study in Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) and become the teacher one day. Maybe Allah wants me to become the programmer I think, but I fell grateful be in here to learn another lesson about technology and computing in School of Computing, Faculty of Engineering, UTM.

After I got an offer from Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia to continue the study in here, I don’t know about UTM. I am felt amazed because I just knew that UTM is ranked in the Top 10 young universities in Asia. It gives me some encouragement even it’s not like a piece of cake, but the life must be continued.

First time saw the main gate while drive entering UTM campus, the green environment and the design of their building catalyst me to be a successful student in this university. But the subject that I learned are not easy. There are 4 major subject that I learned this semester.It is taught for but it is not imposibble.
