Motivational Talk: Career Is in Your Hands

Mini Report:

This program is a joint effort organized by UTM and TalentCorp Malaysia that is held within the UTM Campus at N24 Lecture Hall. The objective of this program is to help students employability after graduation by creating a career road map and reflecting on our strength and weakness. Throughout the program, a group sharing session was held by the TalentCorp facilitator to motivate students to have a competitive advantage in the future such as having a leadership position, high academic scores, extracurricular activities and/or volunteer work.  

Self Reflection:

This program influenced me to be more adaptable by recognizing potential improvements in my abilities and able to apply known solutions in new environments. During the profiling session, I was able to identify my strength and weakness fairly easily with the help from TalentCorp facilitator. Some example are my patience and analytical approach to problems unknown to me but I tend to overthink solutions which prevents me to have produce actual results. However, this in itself is a future goal towards an ideal self.
