6 DAYS as A WAYFARER
Wednesday, 24th October 2012
YEAY!! Home! Home! . Today is the day where my journey to my hometown to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha is started. Before to Kelantan, I went to my sister’s house at Rompin bcoz her family and I will go to our hometown together. My bus left JB at 3pm. Usually, it takes 3 hour to reach Rompin and I should reach at 6pm. Unfortunately, the bus have some problems with it engine and it takes another hour to overhaul the bus. That means, I reached Rompin at 7 pm. At 8.30pm, I departed from Rompin to Kuantan and continued the journey on Thursday early in the morning. At Kuantan, my sister’s family and I slept at my aunt’s home.
Thursday-Saturday, 25th-27th October 2012
We continued our journey at 7.30am from Kuantan by car and gratefully reached home at 1pm.
As usual, when we at home, the time is moving so fast. Furthermore, I celebrated the Hari Raya together with my family and I did not realised the time moved very fast. I just realised that, it’s already Saturday and I have to come back to ROmpin and UTM on the next day.

Done packing all the things at 10am. We departed at 11am from my lovely home. When we reached Tanah Merah, its already traffic jammed and my guessed was it will be a very long journey today. We were stuck at Tanah Merah for about I hour. Same things happened at Pasir Puteh, we were stuck for about 2 hours n half. It was once in a blue moon to see traffic jammed at Pasir Puteh. n we were stuck again at Jerteh. Usually, it takes 45 minutes to reach Jerteh from my home. But this time, at 3pm, we were still at Jerteh watching the other cars moving slower than tortoise. At 5pm, stopped for a while to perform solah n eat. The traffic jammed continuously happened until the entrance of Lebuhraya Pantai Timur n the cars were moving smoothly on the highway. But, when it comes to the exit of the highway, for about 2km to exit to Bukit Besi, traffic is jammed again and continued until Bandar Muktafi. Then, the car moved very smoothly after exit of Bandar Muktafi. Usually, the traffic is jammed when there is a traffic light. Along the way to Bandar Muktafi, I saw a lot of people with variety of problems. Some of them rested at Petronas and Shell while waiting for the tank trucks to come with fuel because the oil stations ran out of petrol. All the food stalls along the road crowded with many people. Also, some cars damaged. However, my brother kept driving his car and I asked him to replace but he won’t.
At 12am we just arrived at Kuantan and it takes 13 hours from my home(Kelantan). What a very long journey. BTW, we didn’t arrived at our destination yet(Rompin). Luckily, my brother-in-law has a friend at Kuantan and he asked his friend to sleep at his house. My brother’s friend is Shahrul and he is a lecturer at Pahang Matriculation College. He is a very nice guy I’ve ever met. Even though he has an important duty on the next day as an invigilator for the matriculation students bcoz they were going to have PSPM(final exam) on the next day but he was willing to wait for us until 12am though my brother asked him to sleep first. Also, my brother asked him to go out at 12am to buy some food and his answer is YES. He is a very wonderful guy.
We slept at his house for about 2 hour and at almost 4am, we continued the journey. We arrived at Rompin(my sister’s home) at 6am. I continued to sleep after performing the solah while my sister prepared herself to go to work. My brother took a sudden leave bcoz he tired of driving the car for the whole day.
Roughly, my journey from Qlate to Rompin took about 15 hours(usually 7-8 hours). Perghhhhh!!!!

At 9am I woke up and prepared myself to back to UTM. The bus form Rompin to JB is at 11am. My brother sent me to the bus terminal and I left Rompin at 11am.
Unfortunately, at 12.45pm, the bus that I rode has damaged. n it takes a very long time to repair the bus. However, the damaged cannot be fixed n the other passengers and I have to wait for other bus to come n the bus came at 3pm. A lot of times have been wasted. I predicted that, I’ll reach at UTM by 3.30pm because I wanted to attend the OC class started at 4pm. But, bcoz of the problem I have to skip the classes.
BTW, I arrive at Terminal Larkin at 5.30pm and I took another bus from Larkin to Sri Putri and back to UTM by taxi. Gratefully, I arrived at my room (MA1 1-41) at 7pm.. However I have missed 2 classes on this day which is OC and DE. For the DE class, I was intending to skip bcoz it is impossible to arrive at UTM by 2pm as my bus departed from Rompin at 11am. The DE class started at 2pm. BTW, Im ok with DE but not for OC..huhu
The journey for 6 days was very tiring. After performing the solah when I arrived at my room, I immediately went to my bed bcoz I was very tired of no enough sleep..
Done with PCP 1
16 June 2012-PCP 1 final exam.. some questions easy but some not.. just 'redha n tawakkal' huhu..
BTW, I cannot answer the 4th question. question 4 is about relative humidity and I dont know much the concept.. U know why? a little revision on this topic.. eventhough, during the test, I was allowed to open the textbook, but I still dont know how to proceed with my calculation for this question.. The mark for this question is 15marks and I would lost 13 marks which is come from calculation of relative humidity.. the other 2 marks(I hope I get it) come from drawing the process diagram.. Mood:sad
Also, for question 2, I lost many marks as I dont put the flow rate for CH4 at the outlet stream.. U know what does it mean?? my calculation of atomic balance is totally wrong.. another 13 marks I lost.. waaaaaaaa!!!
At this time, I hope I get not excellent result but 'okay' result so that I would not repeat this subject..
Anyway, PCP 2 is coming soon.. just get ready and be prepared during the 2 months of semester break..(I'm not sure enough with I am but yes for THEO Wai Lip)
..Waiting for the result is so thrilling.. then
..Hope Dr Ramli is doing me a favor by giving some marks and to my friends too..hehe
Crazilllyyyyy HOMESICK!!!
Anyone have any medicine to cure my sick... I'm homesick.. huhuu.. at the time I'm writing this post, I'm at the end of 2nd semester for my 1st year of study.. I have to face a lot of challenges along this 2nd semester as new undergraduates student.. "I think I can still label myself as a new students"
.. being a undergraduate student is so different with a school student..at university, I have to deal with a lot of quizzes, tests, assignments and some sort like that until I can't get enough sleep..perghhhhhh!!!!! forbearance should be high as 'Forbearance is a kind of IMAN'.. for this 2nd semester, the hardest subject for me is Organic Chemistry(OC).. eventhough I have learnt this subject during my matriculation and school, but I don't know why I cannot perform well in my tests and even in some quizzes
.. the other subject that has same level of hardness with OC is Principle of Chemical Process(PCP) 1.. this subject is core subject for me as I taking Chemical Engineering.. I hope that PCP 2 gonna be easier..
Final exam is around the corner.. 5 subjects will be on the final which are OC, TITAS, PCP, Math Eng II, and Material Eng. TITAS should be the easiest one but it become hardest if you do not do enough revision.. TITAS is a subject of reading, where it's all about history and you know what...I dislike history but I'll try my best for this coming final.. where there's a will, there's a way..
When we talk about final exam, exactly I'm going back to home.. I like this one.. It's been so long I'm not seeing my mother, father n family because I cannot go back home often as my home so far away form johor.. it took 12 hours journey from Johor to my home in Kelantan.. so wasting time and money..BTW, I'm crazily homesick now, and I feel like to back home right now..
To my friends and I, do our best in final exam.. hope we can pass the test with flying colour..
Mum, dad n my family, wait me at home I'll coming home soon.. pray for me so I can answer all the question correctly in the final exam.. miss u all
