Fun Science Dive

When I entered into this, I thought it Would be a fun little seminar. I would listen to thing regarding the technology community I already heard of and move on with my life. I was mistaken on how it is in reality. There were many aspects about the science community at large that didn't know about, things that only a select few people not the technology industry know but the people who are outside of the technology industry know. These people who break my preconception of the tech industry as just for the select few, talk about how the industry are important to their lives and how each advancement change the how they work and how efficiently they can do their task.

One of the guess that really surprised me was the Police officer, Inspector Mohd Fitri. I first thought, why would a police officer have anything to do with science. My question was answered when he first introduced himself. He pints the picture of the crime solving world full of technological and scientific advancement for the betterment of their ability to solve cases. It gave my field more realism as it showed me how science and technology seemed to involve all aspects of life in all industries. 

In hindsight, I should have realized this fact sooner. But because how the education system seems to guide students towards a singular career path without giving us practical applications of what we are learning, It is easy to be tunneled versioned on this path. This one speaker gave me the clarity I need to use all my knowledge, in the industry and outside it for the betterment of my career.
