MODULE 2
MODULE 5
What is this subject about ?
Digital logic is the representation of signals and sequences of a digital circuit through numbers. It is the basis for digital computing and provides a fundamental understanding on how circuits and hardware communicate within a computer. The example of electronic devices that are embedded with this logic is calculator, computers, digital watches and many more
MODULE 1
MODULE 3

Module 1 reflection
Module 1 reflection
I learned topic of analog and digital system and also their terms that used, digital operation and functional function. Analog is continuous range of value but digital is a discrete set of value. I can ilustrate basic operation of digital logic systems. From this module also it covers the technologies of digital logic ICs and PLDs.
Module 2 reflection
Module 2
In this module, I learn 2 parts which are Numbering System Code and Data representation and Basic Arithmetic Operation. I had learned the step tp illustrate the numbering system, demonstrate the process of converting a value from one numberin system to another. I know what is LSB and MSB, unsigned data, 1’s complement and 2’s compement and it also has the relation to illustrate the arithmetic computation.
Module 3 reflection
Module 3
Basically module 3 is to introduce the basic gates which are (NOT, AND, OR). Derive the universal gates from basic gate for example, (NAND , NOR , XOR , and XNOR). Module 3 also covers the characteristic of each gates.
Module 4 reflection
Module 4
Module 4 I learned about Boolean Algebra. I can simplify the digital citcuit using Boolean Algebra and K-MAP (Karnaugh Map). It is a little hard at first, but yeah..thanks to my friends to teach on how to do that k-Map stuff. After making the K-Map, I can apply the Boolean Algebra in designing and analyzing digital circuit.
Module 6 reflection
Module 6
Module 6 got not much different with module 1 it covered deeply about functions of combinational logic. I learned and know about design of functions, Module 6 also covered the topic on how to use an MSI chip of the functions.
Module 5 reflection
Module 5
From Module 5 I learned so much about the introduction of AND-OR and AND-OR-invert logic. Learned on how to illustrate the conversion between different representations of digital circuit. Next is universality of gate and dual symbol in a digital circuit. Those are for make the circuit look more simple and easy and to reduce cost.
Module 7 reflection
Module 7
Basically module 7 have a relation to module 6, but more on latches and flip flop. There are 3 types of latches (SR latches , Gated SR Latches , Gated D latches). Next 4 types of latches ( SR , D , JK , T) .This module also explain about characteristic of latches and flip flop. I can illustrate the timing diagram associated with each Latches and flip Flop operations.
Module 8 reflection
Module 8
Module 8 is the next part of module 7, it covered the topic to distinguish the different between synchronous and asynchronous counter. I can illustrate the designing of counters and explain the application of counters, the advantages and disadvantages for each types. Lastly I can demonstrate the analysis of sequential circuits.
