The workshop centered around delving into the functionalities of Git and Github, platforms crucial for version control and collaborative coding projects. Participants were guided through a series of sessions covering the fundamentals of installation, basic commands, cloning, and the process of pushing and pulling changes. As a coding enthusiast eager to enhance my skills and stay updated with industry-standard tools, participating in the "Mastering the Power of Git and Github" workshop hosted by GDSC UTM was an invaluable opportunity. Recognizing the importance of version control and collaborative coding in modern software development, I knew that gaining expertise in Git and Github would significantly benefit my coding projects and future career prospects. Additionally, the workshop's promise of catering to both beginners and experienced coders reassured me that I'd find value regardless of my skill level. Therefore, registering for and actively engaging in this workshop was a proactive step towards leveling up my coding abilities and fostering a deeper understanding of essential tools in the field.
