With great satisfaction, I would like to express my satisfaction with finishing the SECB3203-01 Programming for Bioinformatics course project "Prediction of Lung Cancer using Recursive Feature Elimination" successfully. Without the great assistance of our client, Dr. Sharin, our excellent lecturer, Dr. Nies, and my committed teammate, Lee Rong Xian, this feat would not have been feasible.

It was a genuinely collaborative and enriching experience to work with Lee Rong Xian. Her dedication, knowledge, and spirit of cooperation greatly improved the project's overall quality. Together, we overcame the difficulties of putting Recursive Feature Elimination into practice, explored the nuances of machine learning methods like RandomForest, and made efficient use of the confusion matrix for thorough assessment.

I greatly owe Dr. Nies for giving us the direction we needed during the course. The guidance and proficiency of Dr. Nies were crucial in molding our comprehension of bioinformatics programming and machine learning principles. The support and insightful criticism we got were crucial in guiding our initiative towards success.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to our client, Dr. Sharin, for giving us the responsibility of creating a lung cancer prediction model. Her advice and domain expertise helped us develop a solution that tackles relevant bioinformatics concerns and is in line with practical applications.

I learned about the complex field of machine learning during this assignment and gained an understanding of RandomForest, Recursive Feature Elimination, and the use of confusion matrices.
