Programming Technique is the subject that I have already developed a very strong passion in it before I enter UTM. Before I entered UTM, I tried to learn to programme by myself. I surf the internet for free courses and also watch a lot of YouTube video hoping that I can master it by myself. But, I found the process of learning programming by myself is really upsetting and frustrating. I keep facing troubles and challenges and I feel so lost and don’t know how to overcome those problems that I encountered with. During that time, I have set a goal to myself that I will master programming skill for sure after I enter UTM.

Luckily after I entered UTM, I met great lecturer and great friends. All of them are generous in sharing their knowledge with me. They teach me and discuss their idea with me. So, I am really happy to enter here.

Besides, the main difference between the process of learning programming (before and after I entered UTM) is that I really have a better understanding in how to write code and application of programming in those real-life scenarios. One reason is because of the good lecturer and friends here, another reason is that my past experience in learning programming really helps me a lot too. Now, I can bravely say that I mastered basic C++ programming skills.

Journey in Programming

My first Arduino Project

My team and I are planning to create a Smart Socket Power Control System. We planned to use node MCU ESP 8266, current and light sensor to construct our electronic circuit. Then we will install it in an extension cord. After that, we plan to use MySQL and php to create our database and dashboard in order to receive and transmit data between our smartphone/laptop and extension cords

UM Competitive Programming Competition

Master C++ Programming - Completion date: 31 December 2019

I need to strengthen my competitive programming skill (especially C++). Although knowing that I have a very low chance in getting the prize, but I still want to give it a try. So, before the competition, I am going to spend time preparing for it.
