LAM LI PENG

My name is Lam Li Peng and 20 years old.I am a first year Bachelor of Quantity Surveying student from Faculty of Built Environment, University of Technology Malaysia.This website is created to showcase my study for a materials and specification course that I am taking this semester.This site i will share to all my friend and lecture i learn on this course.Besides from the material and specification course,i am also taking course in construction technology,professional practice ,introduction to computer and construction mathematics. My course material and specification is teaching by friendly lecturer  Mr.Muzani Mustapa.This courses usually brief and give us learn to the properties and behavior common materials use in the construction.On subject i learn a lot of information detail on construction materials including classification,sources,manufacturing process.test involved and evalution on appropriateness of construction materials.In my opinion.Mr.Muzani is a good lecturer because guide me along the  course and examination.

On this few week,we learn many topic such brick,cement,aggregates,concrete,steel,timber,rock,paint,glass,plastics and soil.In this few week the more interesting topic is on second week.This is because the topic for this week is cement and aggregate and we learn the different type of concrete and aggregates,properties of concrete and aggregates.Besides that, we also got do the laboratory work about slump test and cube test.

On week eighth,it know as mid semester examination week and I have to do revision for my examination.But i quite sad to get a bad result for this paper mid semester examination which 12.5 out of 20%.
