Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! I'm Khairun Najihah Binti Abdhul Muthalib. My friends call me Jiha. I'm 19 years old this year and I was born and raised in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
About my academic background, I completed my secondary education in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Penggawa Timur in Masai, Johor. Then, I finished my studies at Johor Matriculation College. I’m currently pursuing my education in Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Network & Security) with honours in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia located in Skudai, Johor. The reason I chose this course is that I was intrigued to learn a lot about computer security. I hope I will be able to widen my knowledge throughout my years of studies at UTM.
Internship Reflection

Assalamualaikum and greetings,
I recently completed my internship at MSM Sugar Refinery (Johor) Sdn Bhd, which took place from 23rd September 2024 to 7th February 2025. This internship has been an incredible learning experience, allowing me to explore various aspects of IT operations, cybersecurity awareness, and technical support within a corporate and industrial environment.
Throughout this journey, I had the opportunity to work on multiple tasks, including IT awareness campaigns, user support, network troubleshooting, system documentation, and asset management. I also gained hands-on experience with server room maintenance, CCTV monitoring, and access control systems, which further deepened my understanding of IT infrastructure and security.
This internship not only strengthened my technical skills but also improved my problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities, as I collaborated with professionals in a real-world setting. The challenges I faced and the knowledge I acquired have been invaluable in shaping my future career in IT and cybersecurity.
