ExCEL Report 2 : Diabolo Camp

I joined an event hosted by KTR which will be held to introduce the Chinese culture of  Diabolo traditional game. The objective of this event is to promote the chinese culture to the other students from other races in UTM. I joined this event as the member of UTM Diabolo Club as KTR invited the club to do the teaching to the coming participants. On that day, we were introduced by the JKM of KTR and we divided the participants into groups for better teaching. I was in charge to distribute the sticks and also help teach some of the basics to the participants. We are able to teach about 5 tricks to them as most of them were quick learners. We also practiced a short performance to perform in front of the participants to further show the harder tricks which can be learnt if they participate in the weekly training as well. The pengetua of KTR also came to give a short speech to end the event with success. Graduate Attributes that I obtained from this event is Communication Skills, Teamwork and Thinking Skills as I worked together with various type of students from other faculties which are the members of UTM Diabolo Club to finish the event.
