Finally I have a chance to learn foreign language which I always wanted to since secondary school. I feel so exciting when I could speak multiple languages.

Lecturer asked our first impression towards discrete structure during the first day, for me, probability is what first comes to me. After the semester I realized that this subject is more than that, the contents have a little bit similar to digital logic.

Unfortunately, there is no calculus which I find quite interesting, a little bit of disappointment. :(

What first comes to me when I heard digital logic is logic gates, yup, that's right, this subject is all about logic gates and how logic gates function.

We learned how to set up logic gates to get the output voltage that we want. This subject is necessary to learn the logic behind computer.

Even though I still don't understand the importance of learning this subject in computer science, I still find it useful sometimes.

The essence of computer science, sending instructions to computer and request computer to execute for us, ever wonder how interesting it is?

Even though I have learned programming even before the first class started I still feel excited when I first wrote a program with zero syntax error and successfully compiled it.

In my first impression, Technology & Information System should provide me a clear image of what information system is all about.

During the semester I found that this subject is more than that and the implementation of active learning in 2u2i is significant to polish students' soft skills through various ways such as presentation. Presentation skills are important especially when we came out an idea and we need need to present it to everyone. Skilled presentation can clearly express the idea to the audience without misunderstanding.

This subject also gave us the chance to visit to industries and have more exposes to real-time environment instead of just sitting in our own world and study without knowing the world out there. 2u2i gave us the chance to experience industrial work earlier and thus we could adapt the working environment better.

Furthermore, we are trained to write reports for all the visits we have went to improve our writing skills so that we can write reports to superior during our work.

Last but not least, active learning forced us to work in team and learn team members' personalities and the way to tackle them so that we can synergy with other colleagues next time without conflict.

In conclusion, this subject is really beneficial to assist us to advance in our career.
