Who am i?

Hi, I am Teh Jing Ling. Currently, I am a First-year student in Software engineering. When I no yet learn programming languages before, I thought that programming languages are quite difficult skills to learn. When I was in foundation, there is a course that compulsory me to learn the programming language which is C++. So, I must force myself to learn it. During the learning journey, I feel that C++ is quite interesting and amazing. Thus, I continue my journey to choose Software engineering as my first choice for degree option. I feel very happy that I was chosen as a Software engineering student at UTM. I hope I will continue my programming journey in the future.

What is the action/improvement/plan necessary for you to improve your potential in the industry?

I will learn various types of programming languages like C++, unity, HTML and python. Through learning these languages, I hope that I can learn more theories and concepts so that I can apply them in my future assignments or projects. I will continue joining various types of events and activities to improve my soft skills, technical skills and also social skills. Those skills are very important for preparing me for my future career. I also will explore myself to learn more knowledge related to IT.

What is your goal/dream concerning your course/program?

My goal is to complete the program smoothly and achieve a good CGPA. A good CGPA can determine the knowledge that I learn from the program is sufficient or not. With a good CGPA, my future employee will know that I am a hardworking and ambitious people to prove that I got the ability to learn new knowledge which is more difficult. Through the problem, I can build and improve my communication and team-building skills which are beneficial to my future career life with my lectures and coursemates. I also join some clubs and events like the committee for UTM Taekwondo Slayerz Club and the 2^nd UTM International Mandarin Varsity Debate Championship 2021 to enhance my social skills.
