PSDA (PROBABILITY & STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS)

This course  show me  some statistical techniques as tools to analyse the data. By this course, i get to now all forms of data. The data represented by the different types of variables are derived from different sources that is daily and industrial activities. Firstly, analysis begins with the data representation visually. Then I learn some
methods of parameter estimation from different distributions. Further data analysis is
conducted by introducing the hypothesis testing. Some models are employed to fit groups of
data.Then I got to learn and use software that can apply some statistical models in
analysing data.

We are given a task that is Project 1 that need to make a team of 4 person in a group. This project need us to be able to analysis data by doing a survey. Firstly we discuss about the survey to get data from respondent.Then we decide to do a survey "UTM student's  lifestyle" . The objective of this survey was to investigate the effect of student's lifestyle and involvement in extracurricular activity to their academic performance. We decide to get 40 respondent student from UTM. From the data we got from the survey, we applied it to R software to get graphs and results. There was conclusion after we analysed all the data. In this project, i and my teammates need to submit the dataset, R file and also a report from the project. We also need to send  a video about this project. I had put all the content from project 1 in my eportfolio.
