Project 2

To start this reflection of mine, I would like to start by giving my appreciation towards Dr Chan Weng Howe for being a great lecturer throughout the semester. As I finished this individual project, I started to reflect on my attitude during the process of this project. There are a lot of things that I learned from working on this project.

             First and foremost, this individual project assessment was initially a group project. However, it was changed to an individual project because of the Covid19 pandemic. This project also replaced the final examination for this course. At first, I really thought that I could do this project in a short amount of time, but things were not going the way I expected it to be. It was surprising for me as soon as I know that the submission date for this work is the same as the other three of my final project for other courses. I was very struggling in the last week of the submission date because I haven't completed any of the projects at all. Besides the struggle i got, it was also benefitting me in terms of my brain usage. I think it is because of the pressure that makes my brain fully functional for the rest of the week. Therefore, I learned my mistakes and I will never procrastinate my work ever again.

             On the other hand, I learn how to test certain statistics fully on software called Rstudio. Before this, all the calculations were calculated manually using a calculator which a bit of overwork to do. So it was very handy for me to use the Rstudio to work on the calculations all by itself. However, I am also had to learn on how to code for the calculations to work, this is where I get the benefits and it adds a new knowledge for me in terms of statistical data analysis.

             Furthermore, as we know that the Covid19 pandemic is still ongoing, I was told to do the presentation of my work through a video presentation. I am very bad in terms of editing and recording a video, it was a difficult task for me. Moreover, I spent a bit of my time specifically in learning on how to make a video presentation. Hence, another new skill has been added in my skills list. The outcome of my video is unexpectedly good in my eyes and i am very happy about it.

             In conclusion, there are a lot of things that I learned through the process and through my mistakes. I was really hoping that in the future, these new skills that I gained can be useful in my career. Lastly, I hope the mistakes that I did will never occur again in the future and that I improve myself for the greater good.
