This is the place I born and grow up. I have spent 20 years here and there are a lot best things to do in Alor Setar. The first thing is take a visit to Zahir Mosque(the most powerful and beautiful mosque in Alor Setar), second is have a dinner at Zakaria Laksa in Kuala Kedah. You may visit the Pekan Rabu Complex and Alor Setar tower and have a good view of Alor Setar. All I want to say is Alor Setar is a wonderful and peaceful place, you may destressed and feel the warm sun, quiet years...
