Self-Reflection:
As the vice director of the program, I served as the right-hand person to the program director, ensuring the efficiency and success of the entire initiative. My responsibilities included active involvement in program planning, encompassing the creation and review of program proposals. I provided input on expected costs, covering various aspects such as food and beverage, site rental, certificates, souvenirs, marketing, publicity, etc.
In overseeing the program's cost structure, my role was crucial in guaranteeing smooth operations without encountering issues related to unexpected expenses. Notably, SITC 23 is involved in collaboration with the Jazari Innovation Club. In this capacity, I acted as the representative for the club, ensuring the successful participation of 12 crew members. This involved tasks like preparing official correspondence, arranging accommodations, and coordinating transportation.
Additionally, I held the position of Head of Department (HOD) for Robotics during SITC 23. In this role, I managed the planning and preparation processes for the Robotic program, which included 90 students from three secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur. Effectively leading a team of 16 individuals, I successfully distributed tasks and ensured a seamless execution of the program from start to finish.
In conclusion, my experience with SITC 23 provided a valuable opportunity for learning how to manage a team and execute a large-scale event in collaboration with government agencies, particularly Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP). The program achieved its objectives successfully under my guidance.
