REFLECTION
In this project, I learn how to do the inferential analysis for collecting data samples. I did one sample testing, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and chi square test of independence. Addition to that, I also get a chance to do research and analysis on issues that I was chosen for. It's not exactly like the question that's been asked in exams. However, it’s really given me a new experience to apply the things that I learned in real life scenarios.
The biggest problem in the R programming that I faced is the way I want to implement the chi-square test analysis for my sample. I hesitate for a long time whether my method is correct or not. Other than that, it mentioned that the method used might come out with a warning message hence we need to merge the cells in the contingency table once and run again the test statistic method. After that, there will be no warning message. But this is not the case for me. After some consideration, I decided to create a table manually for my analysis between gender and type of chest pain based on the data sample. After that, I successfully do an analysis on the things I want for.
It is very interesting for me because after I do an analysis of the variables or issues that my team wants to, we can know more about it and determine if it's true or not. Moreover, we also can know whether they are dependent on two variables or not and even their relationship between each other. In my view, the inferential statistic may be used for business purposes by using data science in future. Thus, the SECI2143 Probability & Statistical Data Analysis is able to prepare myself for doing some research and analysis in various studies.
