Self-Reflection:
JAZARI RECRUITMENT GAMES 2023 (JRW2023): EUREKA DISCOVERY invited me as an evaluation panellist to assess the innovation projects developed by participants. On the evaluation day, I collaborated with two other evaluation panelists, namely Mr. Qayyum and Mr. Syed, both alumni of the Jazari Innovation Club. Together, we evaluated 8 innovation projects based on the selected Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-being, Zero Hunger, and Sustainable Cities and Communities.
Participants presented a variety of innovative and creative programs, including the development of a smart plant monitoring system integrated with sensors that provided real-time data to users. Additionally, one group created an innovation project capable of monitoring and sending an alert message to the user in the event of a sudden medical emergency while driving.
During the 5-minute project pitching sessions, I considered various aspects, including problem statements, product ideas, market needs, and commercialization values. This experience allowed me to enhance my critical thinking skills, enabling me to evaluate innovation products from different perspectives for potential improvements in the future. Effective communication between the audience and me was crucial to ensure that participants easily understood my questions.
In conclusion, JAZARI RECRUITMENT GAMES 2023 (JRW2023): EUREKA DISCOVERY provided me with a new and enriching experience in evaluating innovative products, exposing me to real-life innovation implementations.
