Self Reflection
Throughout the preparation of the event, I have learnt a lot of things regarding the planning of an event. It is really important to have a good communication skills with the team because they are the key success of a program. If they are able to complete the tasks that needed to be completed before the program well, then the event have a higher probability to become a success because they are well-prepared. It is also important to make sure that all committees have a mutual understanding so that there will be no conflict when it comes to decision making. Leadership skills also play an important role in order to make the event become a success because a good leader leads the team like a friend rather than a boss. It is also important to have a critical thinking skills because sometimes there are things that did not go well during the event and it is important to make the right decision during a critical time to make sure that nothing goes wrong. I have learnt a lot of things from organizing the event with my team especially when it comes to friendship because this is the first time we work together as a team to organize an event. Despite the challenge of not knowing each other personally because we never met each other physically, we still manage to make sure that the event become a success as everyone is giving their full commitment to the event.
