SECI2143 Sisthreehood Project 2 Presentation
Project 2 Reflection (FIFA 19 Players study)
After completing this project 2, I have learnt to work as a team with my group members (Teh Jing Ling, Shabrina Salsabila Sakroni and I). As this project has a lot of parts and work to do, thus after we had picked a topic we decided to divide our tasks and then we went on researching the codes used for our respective tasks. For instance, since I was designated to do chi-square test of independence and ANOVA test, I went on Google to look for code examples about these two tests. During the process, we also discussed with one another and helped to check each others' code.
This project 2 was given to us with the purpose of testing our knowledge about inferential statistics which may be very useful to us in the future when we want to carry out research. From this project, we were able to gain more knowledge about the ways to conduct various hypothesis testings and analyse the result. Before doing my part I have to revise the concepts about the chi-square test of independence and ANOVA test which allows me to understand the concepts for this two tests. For example, if I want to conduct chi-square test of independence, the variables I chose must be nominal or categorical.
Furthermore, this project 2 also taught me how to use R-programming to analyse secondary data. As this project required us to use R-studio to analyse the data, thus we had a tough time learning the R code since we are not that familiar with R-programming. After doing some research and some guidance provided by my lecturer which we were really thankful for, we were able to successfully implement the code and complete the project report on time.
