Participating actively as a committee member in OPEN DAY RESAK 2023 (OPERA '23) offered a unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant community of the Student Residential College Committee (JKM) at KTDI. My decision to join the OPERA '23 committee was motivated by the event's reputation as a prominent annual fixture, showcasing the facilities available within KTDI. As a resident, I saw this as a chance to gain firsthand experience, while also showcasing my organizational skills and creativity. Choosing to be involved in the haunted house activity added an exciting dimension, providing an avenue to entertain visitors with a spine-chilling experience.
Throughout OPERA '23, several graduate attributes took center stage. Effective communication was crucial in coordinating with team members for the haunted house's meticulous planning, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. The event also sharpened critical thinking skills during the brainstorming sessions for decoration, design, and ensuring visitor safety. Leadership qualities were integral, as teamwork became essential in the successful execution of various tasks, reinforcing the significance of collaborative efforts.
The event itself, OPERA '23, was a multifaceted experience featuring activities like hari kebudayaan, traditional fashion shows, batik painting, food truck and booth sales, a cooking contest, and sharing sessions. The haunted house, known for its eerie nature, aimed to provide an exhilarating and educational experience. It served as a platform for individuals to confront and overcome fears, translating the lessons learned into real-life scenarios, fostering resilience and empowerment. OPERA '23, with its diverse activities, not only entertained but also contributed positively to personal growth and community building within the student residential college.

Being an active committee member in OPEN DAY RESAK 2023 (OPERA '23) was a personally enriching experience that allowed me to delve into various aspects of event planning and execution. Joining the committee was a conscious decision rooted in my desire to contribute to the vibrant community of the Student Residential College Committee (JKM) at KTDI and showcase my skills. Specifically choosing to be part of the haunted house activity added an element of excitement, as it presented an opportunity to entertain visitors with a thrilling experience.
