Last week on 11.11.2018 students from section 06 for Introduction for engineering subject had been went to Institute of High Voltage and Current (IVAT) lab in Universiti Teknology Malaysia for a visit. We went there around 11 o clock. It was informed that it is the biggest IVAT lab in Malaysia. We went there by walking since it located near to our residents.Before enter the IVAT lab we were super excited as it is is my first time visiting IVAT lab.Our subject lecturer DR.Zulkarnain Bin Ahmad Noorden was lead us on that day. Before enter the IVAT lab he ordered us to wait outside since he have to check the preparations for our visit with the IVAT officers. After the safety checking and preparations, DR.Zulkarnain allowed us to enter the IVAT lab. He asks us to be more careful in that lab and always obey the rules and regulation in that lab since the lab consists of many high voltage devices which may cause death if we are careless.

industrial Talk
There was an industrial talk held at Dewan Astana for all year 1 students on 20th of September 2018. The event starts at 2.00pm. The speaker was Mr. Anssi Ikonen. He is I know that he is a senior lecturer at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Moreover, he is from Finland and he did describe about Finland a lot in his speech as an introduction.
. The Internet of Things, or IoT, refers to the billions of physical devices around the world that are now connected to the internet, collecting and sharing the data.
There are few visions and prediction of IoT developers. Firstly, Mr.Ikonen said that the number of IoT devices in Western Europe is projected to quadruple between 2015 to 2021. He also stated about augmenting life with new things such as Smart city, Smart car and Smart me (healthcare, fitness, wellness. He ended is speech around 3.45pm.
