General Reflection

A. What is your goal/dream concerning your course/program?

    My goal is to get as many experiences as I can, such as through Industry Talk assignments or Low Fidelity projects, that will allow me to broaden my course knowledge. I believe that participating in activities will help me build my professional abilities and confidence in the future. As a result, I am hoping to pass my course with flying colors, demonstrating that I am capable of giving my all, thereby broadening my professional options. I recognize that I will need to work smarter in the future to reach my goals, particularly in my course. 

B. What is the action/improvement/plan necessary for you to improve your potential in the industry? 

    First and foremost, I learned how to strengthen myself in terms of achieving my academic objectives by being more persistent in properly managing my schedule. During the first semester, all of my classes were held online, and I found it difficult to keep up with my studies and finish all of my topic assignments on time. Fortunately, I feel that properly planning your studies is an essential step that will tremendously help you. I also need to step outside of my comfort zone in order to strengthen a variety of skills, including critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. For example, giving opinions or ideas in a group discussion where everyone also will be open-minded to trade their opinions too can enhance my communication skills. As a next step, I will put similar procedures in place whenever I work on additional research initiatives, so that the results can help a wide range of people. Certainly, I would like to take it on as a personal challenge because I feel that in order to be successful, we must overcome all obstacles that stand in our way of reaching our goals and dreams. We must have a burning drive within us in order to succeed.

C. Your opinion on whether this subject contributes to your knowledge on a specific area?

     This subject, in my opinion, plays a significant part in expanding my knowledge of the IT industry. For example, I learned about 5G, Augmented Reality, and the 4th Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) through industry talks and the tasks assigned to us that help us better comprehend various topics. By completing the AWS course, I will be able to increase my fundamental knowledge in order to master the Cloud Computing field. Additionally, the Low-Fidelity Project, in which I was able to successfully complete a group project assignment while simultaneously improving communication, comprehension, and actions, will assist you in becoming more professional in your job handling, resulting in a satisfactory product and outcome that will benefit a large number of people, including myself.

D. Acknowledgement for your lecturer

   To summarize, I wanted to thank Dr. Izyan Izzati, my Technology And Information System lecturer, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for providing me with a great education that has helped me enhance my social and other abilities. My instructor is the sweetest and most approachable person I have ever met since she does not hesitate to explain things to me one by one until the directions are clear and  I am able to generate good results in the assignments. A competent lecturer, in my opinion, is someone who can accurately convey the lesson to the students while also knowing how to deal with students of diverse personalities such as introverts, extroverts, and even ambiverts. Although she teaches the syllabus in a fast-paced manner, the content of the learning is still intelligible because this subject is more fact-based, thus consistent reading by yourselves is required.
