What is your goal/dream concerning your course/program?
My goal in my program which is Bachelor of Computer Science (Bioinformatics) is to achieved CGPA 3.67 and above in every semester and graduated with Dean list. In order to achieve my goal, I poured my blood, sweat and tears in every subject/course during my first semester. I believe to get the dean list, it is crucial to begin since the first semester of my degree. Furthermore, after graduated with bachelor degree, I plan to continue my studies in Master at UTM. I am looking forward to take the PRISM course in the third year of my bachelor program since I'm interested to continue master, so, I can transfer my credit (insyaallah). I know the journey might not be easy, but I am a person who does not easily give up and I am firm in my determination to turn my dream into reality.
What is the action/improvement/plan necessary for you to improve your potential in the industry?
In order to improve my potential in the industry, I need to improve my critical thinking skills. I think it is important to solve any problem in industry. Moreover, the pandemic has caused a paradigm shift in digitization, therefore, I think it is crucial to familiarize myself with all the software and technology as Industry 4.0 enhanced the world with new innovative industrial technologies. Furthermore, I believe it is also important to have innovative and creative thinking during this era as technology has created a great driving force in innovation. By being creative and innovative, it means we are also looking at other perspectives and finding the idea of new solutions which would be so useful in the industry. Next, I also plan to attend any other short courses since everything being conducted virtually, so it actually easier. There are a lot of short course to join and I can gain more knowledge from all the short courses. Other than that, by joining short courses, I can also improve my resume or curricular vitae as these short course certificates would be valuable to the employers.
Your opinion on whether this subject contributes to your knowledge on specific area?
This course have helped me a lot to understand better about Technology and Information System. The alternative of conducting Industrial Talk instead of normal class have gave me the bigger and deeper picture about technology. I think before this i just know the surface about technology, even though I thought I am updated with the technology, but little did I know that technology keep evolving. I also think that assignment that we have been assigned based on the Industrial Talk is a really brilliant idea. Honestly, as a student we may joined several talk but maybe not all input we take notes from the talk. But, as we have been assigned to do assignments based on the talk, we actually gave more focused and also take notes in order to complete the assignments. Moreover, I think the AWS short course also have gave me a new knowledge on Cloud Computing. Actually, there were a lot of specific area that I learned other than cloud computing, I also learned about data analytics, cybersecurity and what I love the most was Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality have never failed to amuse me, I love the fact that the AR is the combination of real world and virtual world. I hope one day I can implement AR in my area (Bioinformatics) such as helping doctors or surgeons practice before their surgery using AR.

My deepest gratitude goes to my SECP1513 lecturer, Dr Azurah binti A Samah for her guidance and support throughout my entire first semester in this course. Without her encouragement, I couldn’t finish all my assignment and project. I am really thankful because Dr Azurah always reminding us of all the due date of our assignment, so that we won’t missed the date. Furthermore, I appreciated Dr Azurah’s effort to spend her time to check on progress of our project.

I would sincerely like to thank all my beloved groupmates, Group 1 ; Nerea, Qaisara, Jeliza and Mirza for giving full commitment throughout the semester. They have contributed a lot started from our very first assignment until we finished our Low Fidelity project. Without them, I cannot complete all the group assignment. Also, special thanks to Nerea, our group leader for leading our group and handling all the meeting so that we can complete our task in time. Lastly, I am so glad to have all of them as my group mates. Hopefully, we can strengthen our friendship in the next semester.
