Information About Digital Logic

Introduction

Digital Logic or Digital Electronic  is the foundation of all microprocessor-based systems found in computers, robots, automobiles, and industrial control systems.

This course introduces the students to digital electronics and provides a broad overview of many important concepts, components, and tools. Students will get up-to-date coverage of digital fundamentals-from basic concepts to programmable logic devices.

Laboratory experiments provide hands-on experience with the
simulator software, actual devices and circuits studied in the classroom

At first leaning this subject, I don't quite understand what am I learning. Its teach us about binary thing and digital thing. For me, its quite hard to understand it at first. But as time goes, my understanding on this subject increase. Basically, its teach us about how machine or computer do thing. For machine and computer, they need special language, so that they can understand it. This subject give me insight on how does the machine and computer function and work. Other than, the lab teaching give me more understanding because we can do it hands-on such as wiring, using IC and other thing. For me, this knowledge can help in the future where I can apply this skill if it is needed.
