Invitation to prize-giving session
By looking at the poster or picture, I think you can guess what would I share right?
Last year on 23rd December 2019, I was invited by Office Undergraduate Studies (UGS) to attend 3rd Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) 2019 Closing Ceremony at UTM Johor Bahru for prize-giving session. This invitation is for the E-portfolio Competition I entered about 2 months before. There were 3 finalists for this ceremony from UTM Kuala Lumpur; Nur Maisarah and Ina Nazatul which are my classmates also throughout my studies.
The reason I entered this competition was because the support from Dr. Nabilah, my lecturer and my academic advisor. She encouraged me to enter this competition because she knows I can go far and win this competition. I try my best in this competition. The requirements for this competition was I need to complete two parts; video resume and my e-portfolio.
In E-portfolio, there are 6 elements to be completed which are profile picture, resume, 3 reflection of academic assignment and 3 reflections for extra-curricular activities.

During the ceremony, I won as a champion in 3rd Year E-portfolio category and Second Runner Up Video CV competition and also RM400 cash.
What I learned from this was never ever give up in whatever we do because I once give up to fulfil all the requirements needed because I have a lot of assignments and presentation at that time. I know if we work hard, we can success. I learned a lot in this competition because I learned how to edit video, how to put pictures, how to make my eportfolio more interesting for people to read and much more. And now, I am here sharing my experience with 1st and 2nd year student in UTM about E-portfolio. I was really happy because at least I can contribute and invest something to myself and my university life.
