This program by CGMA serves a purpose to expose first year SCSV students to the process of creating augmented reality that will greatly benefit us for projects in the upcoming years. The software we learnt to use was Unity, which is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies. First, we were given a short talk about what augmented reality is about and how it works and some other more information about it. Afterwards we get our lunch break. Then the next session in the evening, we start to learn how to set markers on objects using some materials that are provided specifically for this activity. After setting markers, we proceed to acquiring some 3D models and start to merge it with our surrounding using our laptop's webcam. With the help of our seniors, we have succeeded on producing a satisfactory outcome.
