The activity has impacted my communication skills, thinking skills, leadership, teamwork skills, and adaptability. When I joined the program, I got to talk and communicate with my first-year friend and also my senior. Since I am a shy type of person, communicating with a stranger has been hard for me but in these programs, I become braver to talk to people and it increases my communication skills. In this program also, we do some activity which requires me to think outside the box which leads to increases in my thinking skills. I also get to become the leader of my team. It teaches me how to become a leader and lead the member of my team into working together to achieve victory. Finally, I get to know about university life and get advice from my senior on how to manage my time properly. By joining this activity, it made me more confident.

On 7 September 2018, Persatuan Mahasiswa Sabah has conducted a 2 days 1 night program called Bayu Camp 5.0 for the first year student from Sabah. Since I was a first year, I join the program to know more about University life and to make some friends. On day 1, we depart from UTM to Pasir Lanun at approximately 8 .00 am. By 11.00 am, we safely arrive at the location and the committee member of the program starts the briefing. Then, we are divided into a few groups and started to put up the tent. After we eat and pray, the first activity which is icebreaking started at 2.00 pm. At 4.00 pm, we had time for ourselves to rest, pray, and prepare for ourselves for the night activity. At 9.00 pm, the second activity started which is Senior-Junior Bonding or culture night. Then, we had a sharing session at 11.00 pm and after that, we go to sleep. We started the second day with aerobics at 7.30 am and breakfast at 7.50 am. After that, we have sports at 8.00 am and communal work at the beach. At 11.00 am, the last activity is giving out the gift for the participant and we depart back to UTM at approximately 12.00 pm. The Graduate Attributes that are focused on this activity are communication skills, thinking skills, leadership and teamwork skills, and adaptability.
