The activity has impacted my communication skills, thinking skills, leadership, teamwork skills, and adaptability. When I joined the program, I got to talk and communicate with my first-year friend and also my senior. Since I am a shy type of person, communicating with a stranger has been hard for me but in these programs, I become braver to talk to people and it increases my communication skills. In this program also, we do some activity which requires me to think outside the box which leads to increases in my thinking skills. I also get to become the leader of my team. It teaches me how to become a leader and lead the member of my team into working together to achieve victory. Finally, I get to know about university life and get advice from my senior on how to manage my time properly. By joining this activity, it made me more confident.
On 7 September 2018, Persatuan Mahasiswa Sabah has conducted a 2 days 1 night program called Bayu Camp 5.0 for the first year student from Sabah. Since I was a first year, I join the program to know more about University life and to make some friends. On day 1, we depart from UTM to Pasir Lanun at approximately 8 .00 am. By 11.00 am, we safely arrive at the location and the committee member of the program starts the briefing. Then, we are divided into a few groups and started to put up the tent. After we eat and pray, the first activity which is icebreaking started at 2.00 pm. At 4.00 pm, we had time for ourselves to rest, pray, and prepare for ourselves for the night activity. At 9.00 pm, the second activity started which is Senior-Junior Bonding or culture night. Then, we had a sharing session at 11.00 pm and after that, we go to sleep. We started the second day with aerobics at 7.30 am and breakfast at 7.50 am. After that, we have sports at 8.00 am and communal work at the beach. At 11.00 am, the last activity is giving out the gift for the participant and we depart back to UTM at approximately 12.00 pm. The Graduate Attributes that are focused on this activity are communication skills, thinking skills, leadership and teamwork skills, and adaptability.

The impact of the activities on the development of the students’ Graduate Attributes are increasing communication skills, thinking skills, leadership, and teamwork skills. When I joined the activities, I am required to work in a group of four to make our way through each checkpoint to win the race. This requirement indirectly has increased my communication skills because I need to discuss our strategy to pass each checkpoint in a short period of time with my team member. It also increased my thinking skills because each checkpoint has an activity that needs us to think of a way to pass it. Last but not least, it also increased my teamwork skills. The race is a team race, so we need to work together as a team to finished and win the race. My team member and I have worked together and manage to get 4th place. This has taught me a way to work efficiently as a group.
Justification in joining the activities
On 18 October 2018, Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail committee has an event called Open Day Resak 2018 or OPERA'18. These events consist of many activities such as explore race, online gaming competition, and shows. I have joined one of the activities which is the explore race. I joined this with my three other friends but unfortunately, we don't win the race. But I have realized that this activity brings many benefits to me. The Graduate Attributes that are focused on this activity are communication skills, thinking skills, and leadership and teamwork skills. The activity start at 9.00 am and ended at approximately 12.00 pm when all of the group are finished the race. There are 8 groups that compete in the race and 8 checkpoints that must be finished by all groups. The race started when each group is put on each different checkpoint. The group must complete the game in each checkpoint to win the game.

1. Impact of the activities on the development of the students’ Graduate Attributes;
The activity has impact my thinking skills, adaptability, and global citizens. Throughout the discussion, I got to think more about my life and how much I spend my time on every single thing I do. It helps my thinking skills increases as I think more about my life. It also makes me more adaptable to new changes that might happen to me in the future. Furthermore, the activity makes me a better global citizen and a Muslim myself.
2. Self strength/advantage of the activities;
The program helps people to strengthen their inner selves and teach the participant to manage their life properly.
Challenges and how to overcome.
3. I always have a problem to accept one opinion about life but throughout the program, I have learned much to become a better person and think more about my current and future life.
Justification in joining the activities:
On Friday 15 May 2020, Kelab Pemadam UTM has managed to do a Facebook Live with a discussion of "HIDUP PENUH ERTI 'IMARAH 10 MALAM TERAKHIR RAMADHAN'". The activity purpose is to share about how important is our life on the last ten nights of Ramadhan. The activity is mainly for Muslim but everyone is more than welcome to attend the program. On the program, the committee shares many things such as how to change to be a better person in this Ramadhan, what the best things to do in this ten last night of Ramadhan, and how important it is to spend our time to pray for a better life. The Graduate Attributes that are focused on this activity are thinking skills, adaptability, and global citizens. By joining this activity, we were asked to think more about how much we spend our time on beneficial activities for our life.
