Captain Cyrano Latiff is one of the three pilots in the cockpit of SQ006, Boeing 747-400 jet that crashed on a fateful rainy at Taipei, Taiwan on 31 October 2000. On 31 October 2000, the accident involves flight SQ006 from Singapore Changi Airport to Los Angeles International Airport via Taiwan. It happened at Taipei, Taiwan. When the flight was about to take-off from runway 05L, it accidentally entered another runway (05R) which was under construction, during a typhoon. The aircraft crashed into construction equipment on the runway. Stages of crisis management based on cases, stages one pre-crisis – detection and prevention. Stages two, crisis response - containment. Stages three, post-crisis – recovery and learning. In this case, begin with noting the warning sign of the crisis but this case is unique because it is almost consist of zero-symptoms. Step in a crisis situation is to take charge and not worry about apportioning blame. The SIA was well prepared for an unwanted event or crisis. After the news of the SIA crash reached the CEO he rushed to Taipei where he was in a meeting to supervise the crisis plan and became the spokesperson to correct any wrong information released by the press. Next, helped survivors and relative by giving medical cares and etc. Responsive by flying trauma counsellors to assist survivors. Two years from crash point he need to go an accident investigation and job termination. Then, five years from crash point, first live public address @FAF Symposium in USA and ICAO Cabin Safety Symposium in Bangkok. Next, ten years from crash point, he worked at Singapore Aviation Academy at Temasek Aviation Academy. Twelve years aftermath continuum and milestones, he became a pilot again with Air Asia and worked at Terbang & Teroka also Asia Aeronautical Training Academy until today.

I have been a student at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for 2 semesters. In this semester, the courses to be taken are subject Information Technology System with course code SBSD1063 section 01 under Dr. Nazmona Binti Mat Ali. What I have learnt in this course, this course focuses on how information technology (IT) is used by organizations to conduct business and solve problems in modern organization. This subject is also taught me how to use Information Technology to master future jobs and to help ensure the success of the organization. Going through the Information Technology System class has taught me so much more than stuff about using microsoft word and microsoft power point, it also taught me to manage data in excel also create my own web based. Most importantly I have learned and explore more about excel, because Microsoft Excel is very important to use for the future like while I am Internship and when I am start working in anything sector. Besides that, our lecturer also gives us an assessment and quizzes to improve our task given. Although during Movement Control Order (MCO), Dr. Nazmona trying her best to make this subject more understandable and students can be taught well. I enjoyed the online class with Dr. Nazmona because she was very energetic every time I take a class with Dr. Nazmona. Last but not least, I would like to say Thank You to Dr. Nazmona because teach us this subject and give us an understanding more and more about Information Technology System.
