Proposed Fit Out for Amanah Raya Berhad at Wisma Amanah Raya, No. 2, Jalan Ampang, 50508, Kuala Lumpur (Phase 2: Level 14, 12 & 10)
Mechanical Trade
- Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation
- To refurbish, deliver and install available existing Air-Cooled Split Unit complete with outdoor compressor, indoor fan coil units with fire retardant insulation, galvanized support brackets, spring isolators, secondary drain pan with fire retardant insulation, wired remote control & label marking.
- To supply, deliver and install all electrical work from the nearest distribution board (DB) complete with all concealed cabling and wiring, GI trunking and conduit, wired remote start/stop, power supply socket, all phase on/off switch with light indicator & all phase protection.
- To supply, deliver and install concealed refrigerant copper piping complete with closed cell fire retardant insulation, fittings, galvanized brackets/hangers, GI trunking.
- Fire Protection System
- To dismantle and reinstall existing sprinkler heads in accordance with new ceiling layout complete with drop pipe, flexible sprinkler drops and mechanical fittings.
- To supply, deliver and install photoelectric smoke detectors complete with base, brackets, signal cabling in GI conduit up to Main Fire Alarm Panel.
- Supply, deliver and install fire extinguishers in accordance with the specifications and/or tender drawings complete with BOMBA certificate.

- Cold Water & Sanitary Plumbing
- To supply, deliver and install all branch pipes (concealed) from the nearest existing main dropper pipe to all final sanitary fittings complete with GI hangers/supports, brass valves, stop cocks and label marking.
- To supply, deliver and install above ground uPVC soil and waste pipes and fittings to BS 4514/MS 1063 with traps, rubber rings/solvent cement joints including sockets, short lengths and set-in anchors.

The main objective of this internship is to learn by working in a practical environment and to apply the knowledge acquired during the studies in the real world scenario in order to tackle the problems using the knowledge and skill learned during the academic process. The internship is an integral platform for anyone to gain experience in an actual workplace. Internship is a good opportunity for students to learn, to gain experience and also able to make experience. Human learn through experience and real life is full of different kinds of experiences. We will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, and with experiences we are expected to be able to encourage and complete the process.
Experience in my eyes is a very valuable thing in life because we need to undergo through it. By doing my internship, it helps me to know and discover myself from different angles. It also helps me to control and develop my attitude and behavior in dealing with different kinds of people and situation. The aim of internship training is to strengthen student’s skills and make sure students apply the knowledge gain from their studies. This internship training will make students exposed directly to the real working environment.
In the faculty of Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, every student should go through the 12 weeks of internship period in any industry related to their specified subject in order to practically imply theoretical knowledge in the real work place. The internship program is conducted for the partial fulfillment of academic requirements in the sixth semester. It provides practical exposure and helps the student to understand corporate social responsibility and develop corporate attitude. This is a great opportunity for internee to know about the engineering industry that has worked as a building block for career development in the technical service sector.
Through this internship training, students are able to widely understood all functional areas of management of an institution, identify, explore and strive to seize the opportunities and boldly realize opportunities in the fields of industry globally. Furthermore, students can make critical decisions, reactive and dare to explore solutions and best communication effectively in carrying the main language of engineering.
The purpose of internship training is to expose students to real work of environment experience and at the same time, to gain the knowledge through hands on observation and job execution and from the internship training, the students will also develop skills in work ethics, communication, management and others. Moreover, this practical training program allows students to relate theoretical knowledge with its application in the manufacturing industry.
The objective of internship training is to expose the student into the real working environment before graduating, to give the opportunities to the student to link the theories learnt with the practical aspects by placing them in the industries relevant to their respective field of studies in the university.
