The highlight of my academic semester has got to be related to this particular project. This is when the phrase "pressure creates diamonds, fire refines gold" actually makes sense. It was a hard week for us students I have to admit. With more than 2 upcoming tests and a lot reports due that same week, I am honest to god quite surprised that we actually managed to pull through producing somewhat quality presentation slides and content for the project (even with less than a week to prepare). A big round of applause to all of my group mates, course mates as well as to our fellow thermodynamic lecturers, Dr. Nabilah and Prof. Dr. Goto for all of their hard work through out the semester. The mini project itself is really interesting. All of the topics given were related to the real life application of the subject that we are learning. It gives us students more ways to understand the material better whith clear cut examples on how things work in real life. Besides that, the project also gave us opportunity to be in front of people and to share our findings and ideas. I cannot recall any other subjects in the semester that requires us to do a presentation. Extra points for that ! And also I had opportunity to work with new colleagues and made new friends along the way (special shout-out to Lang, Elaine & Farhah ! ) I hope that there are more similar opportunities for us to show case our presentation prowess next semester !
