Self-Reflection

In this programme, I had learnt about the information access and evaluation, which is an another important skill for our research skills toolbox. There are various aspects to information, and it's critical to grasp how these elements contribute to the writing of your research report. We may be looking for information tidbits that capture our thoughts or ideas. However, when accessing and evaluating information, we must consider the resource carefully and critically before using it to support our point in our writing assignment.

Overall, information literacy is what I learnt in this programme by planning, implementing and evaluating the information search, locating the publications, managing references and promoting academic integrity. Information literacy is defined as the ability to locate, analyse, organise, use, and transmit information in all of its forms, particularly in situations requiring decision-making, problem-solving, or knowledge acquisition. It entails a combination of research, critical thinking, computer technology, and communication abilities. Academic performance, efficient workplace functioning, and involvement in society as informed citizens all require information literacy.
