Mini Report

Jom Netball is a program conducted by the netball sports club. Every member of the club is required to participate in handling this event. It is a one day event where school's netball clubs are invited as guests. Before the event occurs, there are multiple tasks given for each member. We were first divided into groups of three where each group handle different tasks. My group was assigned to do a video on how to do proper stretching before playing netball. Then other groups are required to prepare a powerpoint presentation.

On the day of the event, There are approximately 60 participants from two different schools joined the program. At the end of the program, we asked the participants to join an online game, KAHOOT, as the top three winners will get prizes from our club. The event went smoothly and end in a well-being manner. After the event finished I was assigned to create a poster based on the event outcome. The club's lecturer guided me to produce high quality infographic poster.

Self-Reflection

In this program I learned the importance of teamworking, and fast thinking skills. At first I had a hard time adjusting to the group tasks because i need to juggle between academic assignments and club event. I manage to give cooperation in the group and give out my opinions on certain matters. I participate in every meeting and manage to give a presentation in front of 60 people. I also did my best in the rehearsal where i practice calming down my nerves of talking in front of a crowd. To handle an event it needs constant updates in the group and the cooperation of every group member in the team to ensure high quality work is produced. I also noticed I willingly take every tasks that is needed help by other members and help them go through their tasks properly. In a way, it was a very productive experience and I am willing to join the club'c activity again in the future.
