The purpose of holding this music convention is to introduce traditional Chinese arts among the multi-racial community in UTM in line with Malaysian government policies and aims to promote traditional Chinese culture, music and art and improve the quality of and experience of participants. As a Chinese born in Z generation, traditional Chinese culture, music and art is kind of vague for me. Thus, I joined this program to have more understanding and on our Chinese culture, music and art. Apart from music and song performance, there is also dance performance, talk show, singing performance and some comedy show. The program activities mostly focus on graduate attributes of global citizens, leadership and teamworking skills. Malaysia is a country full of diversity, and music plays an important role in connecting people regardless of religion, ethnic or races. This program is open to all Malaysian to advocate the spirit of "Satu Malaysia" and I am happy to see that not only performers but participants that comes from different races.
