REFLECTION OF WEEK 1 (already submitted via email before this)

During my first class of this course which was on 18th October 2022 (Tuesday), I was excited since it was my first time attending a curricular course for this semester. I came earlier before the class started and knowing that there was also an international student being in the same class as me. As a starter of our class for that day, Mr Rashid carried out an ice breaking session casually to ensure that all of us enjoyed the session. We got to know each other better and shared some thoughts on why we chose this course. Not only that, we were also discussing on what are our expectations throughout this course.

Apart from that, Mr Rashid asked the meaning of ‘Youth’ and ‘Development’ from our own opinions respectively. We were freely to share on what do we hope to ‘give and get’ from this course, and there is one of highlight sentences from Mr Rashid that I remember and really get into it which is: “As a youth itself, we are more likely to GIVE what we have. Meaning that, we should prepare the best version of ourselves to give benefits to others and community. It is not only on what we will get, but it is all about what we can give or contributes to the success of the development itself.”

Before the end of our class, Mr Rashid also explained the course information and all of the details about individual assignments/group project that we should take note and have an idea about. Last but not least, I really hope to get along with all of my coursemates and create a good teamwork as well. Honestly, I do love this course so much and excited to gain more experiences so that I can contribute better. In shaa Allah.
