SCSD(Technology and Information System)

Overall, from what I have learnt from Technology and Information System subject is that, it gave me tonnes of inputs on how does the computer works both internally and externally. And to top it off, Dr Aryati encouraged all 33 students of Data Engineering to have an independent learning session for every classes. Meaning, we learned all those related topics through presentations in groups and small assignments. From this method, it managed to boost up my self-confidence and strengthen my courage and ability to talk in front of an audience. To me, these kind of soft skills is important especially for us, the first batch of Data Engineering students which our course was implemented with 2U2i program.

In my perspective, 2U2i program is one of the effective way to encourage and build the students’ confidence through learning processes. As this program is a work-based learning types of program, one of the advantages is that the students were exposed to an early experience on how does the interaction and work processes happens among the industries, especially the IT ones. All in all, it was such a great opportunity for us to have Dr Aryati as our lecturer and supervisor for this subject.

VISIT TO HILTI;

On 9th of December, 33 students of Data Engineering courses was invinted to go to HILTI Sdn. Bhd. that was situated in Oasis Damansara.

It was one of the remarkable experience for us to be given an event regarding the appreciation for SCSD students

Industrial visit to Magic, Cyberjaya

This industrial visit is the first ever visit that we, all the SCSD students went as a group. We were lead by Dr Aryati herself.
