This seminar expose students to the well-known engineering organization, Institute Electrical & Electronic Engineering (IEEE). The seminar was held on 9 March 2021 at CISCO Webex platform. The objectives of this seminar was to encourage students, especially students major in Electrical Engineering to join the IEEE organization. Other than that, this seminar also expose the important of having organization as fresh graduate engineer. This seminar enhance the students understanding towards the Information Management and Lifelong Learning Skill. It rise awareness towards the importance of having organization. The importance of having organization that have been mention is to regulate the engineering knowledge, sharpen the soft skill and to expand network with other engineering member. This importance will bring towards the advance of the engineering world. The outcome of this talk is to increase my awareness towards the importance of having organization after graduate from UTM. Not only that, this talk able to give full exposure about the IEEE organization in which, increase my interest on joining them.
Self Reflection:
The ‘Seminar with IEEE student member” had given me a exposure about the great on having organization such as IEEE. The sharing session was very beneficial and informative to me as now I can see there are many important factor to increase my knowledge and soft skill by having an organization. Plus, I have been looking for this kind of seminar to increase my Lifelong Learning Skill and Information Management. Besides that, this talk had further made me understand that involvement towards organization such as IEEE would help advance the world of engineering. All the exciting activities and experiences that had been shared by the speaker made me crave to be one of the IEEE members.
