Title: AIESEC INDUCTION DAY

Mini-Report

AIESEC is a global nonprofit organization that strives to bring peace through understanding by working towards the Sustainability Development Goals set by the United Nations. Induction day is an internal event created by AIESEC in Johor Bahru branch that welcomes new AIESEC members into the organization. The event is around 7 hours and consists of multiple sessions welcoming the newcomers to AIESEC, and explaining about AIESEC values, departments, workflows, and more. The event was very informative, welcoming, and fun. Everyone got to meet their teammates, department mates, and club mates. We also had a live demo on how to talk to exchange participants, and how to go through the process and workflow of sending them to a program called Global Volunteer, whereby the exchange participants can spend a few weeks abroad to do some great charitable work. 

Self-Reflection

For me personally, this event was incredibly fun, informative, and a wonderful networking event to connect to my teammates, department mates, and clubmates. After having been in the club for two years and looking back at this event, it was organized wonderfully and the information and demonstrations that we experienced in the event were not only very useful knowledge-wise, but set the true tone on the workflow and standards that we will be working with for the rest of the AIESEC term. Overall, I highly enjoyed this event and commend the organizers for organizing this event with care.
