SECP1513-01 TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

From this program, I had learned about what is design thinking. Design thinking is a process of critical thinking which produce a useful product to solve a specific problem. This program is carried out with my group member, which are Mek Zhi Qing, Rohaizaazira and Nor Syamira. Our problem is related to the phone cable which is easily broken. Therefore, we have an idea as to do a handphone application which can help in detecting the lifespan of the cable after meeting in Google Meet. The report and video are prepared based on the problem and the product. 

Our group is required to do the mindmap of chapter 5 in this subject. Throughout the making of this mindmap, all of us has more understanding on the system unit and this knowledge is very useful to us especially in the assignment of PC Assembly. Our group member is given with different subtitle of the chapter. Based on the divided task, I focus on the part of microprocessor and memory, therefore, I get more information in this part when I find the related information of these two components. 

Based on the understanding of chapter 5, we have the basic knowledge about the system unit. From the knowledge we gain, we need to do an assignment on the step of PC assembly and also the function of each system unit. We are not able to do the actual build-up of PC due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we can only based on the pc assembly video in youtube to complete this assignment. 

For this task, we are required to attend a talk on 24/11/2020 with the topic of Industrial 4.0: Past, Present, Future. This is a very interesting talk which gives us many information about the revolution of industry and some information about the industrial revolution 4.0. A poster was carried out based on this industrial talk. We had divided the task based on 3 sections which are revolution of industry, component of Industrial Revolution 4.0, the role of Industrial Revolution 4.0 in daily life and reflection after attending this informative talk. Throughout this industrial talk assignment, I had learnt to do a poster which focuses on the main point of the specific topic and present in the more interesting graphic. Our world technology is kept in changing from time to time and the revolution is evidence that we are in the development process in making a better future. 

In this assignment, our group is required to prepare a group report based on the Industrial Talk with the topic of The Importance and Trending of IT Project Management. The format of this report must use the IEEE conference paper template provided. To complete this task, I heard this talk about 3 times to not lose the important point given by Mr Mohd Khairul. This task takes a short time to complete it and this makes me have an unforgettable memory when do this task, just like compete to the time which is kept on going without any delay. Anywhere, I get the knowledge pass by the speaker through this informative talk. 

This Alumni Sharing Session is held on 29/12/2020 at the Webex platform. The report must be based on the news format which is never done by us. Therefore, we had learned to do news through this assignment. In this talk, the invited seniors share their experience and their tips to survive in this COVID-19 pandemic period. They state that if you want to get a job, you must show your value to your company. The information pass by senior and speaker is very useful to us, especially we are the first-semester student which are in confusing our future. Thanks to speaker and organiser who carry out this interesting talk!

Amazon EC2, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure are the top Cloud Computing Service Providers in this world. Each of them has its own benefit and we can choose to use based on our requirement. Therefore, we required to list out the characteristic of these Cloud Computing Service Providers. Through this assignment, I gain more information about cloud computing and I believe this knowledge can help me in the future.
